Listening Session
Yesterday night I met two friends for a listening session.
In a listening session, each participant prepares a few songs, and stories about these songs. The stories can relate to the songs itself, to the artist, the genre, a technical aspect, how does the song relate to the participant... Anything goes.
Then, at the session, we take turns to present a song, and then listen to it.
This format, other than a fun evening with friends, is a good way to learn about new music you otherwise wouldn't have been exposed to. This is the eighth session that I participated in, and the first one with those friends.
